Silver-plated death’s head, the eyes and nose lined in black velvet, a silver-plated Vaterland banner. White cloth lanyard. Convex brass chinscales with leather underlay on rosettes attached to M 91 side post lugs, a Reich cockade in lacquered sheet metal on the right. A field insignia in white and black fabric inserted at the top. The black leather liner in fine condition, the manufacturer’s label “Robert Upleger Hutfabrik Danzig 1915” and size “55” stamped in the skull. Slightly damaged in places, signs of age.
