The left hand side of the barrel marked “R” and “C” in a circle, the top “Mle. 1887”, the right hand side with the production date “S 1888”. 2606 2606 Photo 2 Military acceptance marks “Crown/E” on the cylinder and the lower side of the barrel. Maker’s mark “Mre d’Armes St. Etienne” on the right side of frame. The gun polished, some spotting. Hammer and trigger with remainders of strawing. Dark walnut grips, lanyard ring.
