| 315 helmet band the German cap cockade for officers, the inside of the helmet inscribed “Plieninger Duala 1908”. Also included a photo (new copy). Signs of use and age. The items come from the estate of Ober- leutnant Plieninger. He had switched from the 2nd Alsatian Pioneer Battalion No. 19 (to which he still belonged in 1904) to the colonial forces in Cameroon.
