1305 Fein geschnitztes Gefäß eines Luxus- Hirschfängers, Frankreich, 19. Jhdt. Extrem aufwendig geschnitzter Griff und Parierstange aus Hirschhorn mit schöner Al­ terspatina. Der Griff spiralig umlaufend mit plastischen Hirschen, Hasen, Hunden sowie einem Keiler am Knauf. An der Parierstange mittig reliefierter Fuchs- bzw. Löwenkopf, die seitlichen Abschlüsse mit vollplastisch gear­ beitetem Hund bzw. Wildschwein über fein durchbrochenemRankendekor. Das Klingen­ fragment mit beidseitig geätztem Floraldekor. Länge 34,5 cm. Auf späterem Präsentations­ ständer aus Eisen. The grip decorated with three-dimensional deer, hares and dogs in a continuous spiral and with a boar on the pommel. In the centre of the quil- lons head of a fox and lion, respectively, in re- lief, the lateral finials with three-dimensional dog and boar, respectively, above fine open- work tendrils.
