T-förmige Gesichtsöffnung, umlau­ fend vernieteter, breiter Brechrand. Umlaufende Futterlochungen, die Futternieten fehlen. Darunter seitlich je zwei Lochungen zur Befes­ tigung des Kinnriemens. Fein nach außen gebördelter unterer Rand, imNacken zwei vierkantige Hängelochungen. Schwarze, leicht krustige Brandpatina mit brandbedingten kleinen Kupferaufschmelzungen und kleinen Korrosionsausblühungen. Durch Feuereinwirkung deformiert. Höhe 26,5 cm, Gewicht 2.679 g. Extrem formschön gearbeitete Barbuta in der seltenen und begehrten korinthischen Form. Vergleichbare Helme befinden sich u.a. in der Wallace Collection in London (Inv.-Nr. A 78) und in der Armeria Reale in Turin (Inv.-Nr. E 9.06278).
