75 | A rare set of three linked Anglo-Saxon silver dress pins, England, 8th - 9th century Three silver dress pins in immaculate condition, joined to- gether by means of rhombic links and wire loops. The pins twisted. A large disc at the top of each pin, the front lavishly decorated in the Nordic interlaced style. The middle disc is the largest, adorned with elaborate animal symbols. A repair to the mounting of the central pin, otherwise intact. Length 19.5 - 20.5 cm. Weight 132 g. Such exquisite craftsmanship and excellent condition are extremely rare.
