Profuse depictions of flowers, blossoms, festoons, bouquets, intertwined volute ornaments, cartouche motifs and a central, escutcheon-style ornament, all with lav- ish mother-of-pearl marquetry. A twisted border around the edge of the top, the frame round on all sides, with curving, S-shaped volutes, double C-shaped volute legs with a gro- tesque ornament in half relief depicting a faun, on brass sab- ots and castors.
