A pair of cased percussion pistols, Liège, circa 1850 Octagonal barrels of rose Damascus steel with multi-groove rifling in 11 mm calibre with patent breechblocks and dovetail front sights. Stamped “ELG” on the side of the breech. Percussion locks engraved with scrolling leaves. The walnut half stocks carved with a floral design and featuring fluted butt stocks and en suite engraved iron furnitures. Length of either pistol 42 cm. In original walnut case, the lid with integrated brass handle. The interior lined with red (faded) velvet, with comprehensive, complete accessories.
