| 365 amidst oak leaves. Flag on a gilt metal pole and silver-gilt cord, secured by a silver eagle in fine relief with screw-mounted gold crown. Beauti- fully veined green marble base (replaced). Small tears in the flag cloth, metal darkened. Dimensions of the flag cloth 30 x 32 cm, height of eagle 23 cm, height of base 19 cm. The Infantry Regiment “Margrave Karl” (7th Brandenburg) No. 60 was established in Brandenburg in 1860. The main garrison was in Weißenburg. The regiment took part in the three Wars of Unification 1864 – 1871 and World War I 1914 – 1918. After the end of World War I, the regiment was dissolved in 1919. Margrave Karl, who gave the regiment its name, was honoured for having distinguished himself as regimental chief and commander under Frederick the Great. 272605 II € 8.000 1505
