| 31 LIPPE-DETMOLD 1021 Wilhelm Freiherr von Leonrod - Kreuz 1. Klasse mit Schwertern des Lippe- Detmolder Ordens vom Ehrenkreuz 1918 im Verleihungsetui Aus vergoldetem Silber gefertigtes (wohl C. F. Zimmermann, Pforzheim) Halskreuz, die Krone und Schwerter geprägt und hohl ge- arbeitet, die Lippische Rose in Gold gehalten, mehrfarbig, teils transluzid emailliert. Breite 66 mm. Gewicht 59 g. Zusammen mit unkon- fektioniertem Halsband im goldbedruckten (Krone, Rose und „E. K. I. Kl. X”) Ver­ leihungsetui mit inliegender Familien-Notiz „Ehrenkreuz des Fürstl. Lippischen Gesamt- hauses”. Die am Hals getragene 1. Klasse des Haus- und Verdienstordens stellt den höchsten Ordensgrad dar und ist mit Schwer- tern einer der seltensten Kriegsorden des Weltkrieges (laut Schwark 2005 erfolgten lediglich 17 Verleihungen)! Wilhelm Freiherr von Leonrod - a Cross 1st Class with Swords of the Lippe-Detmold House Order Cross of Honour 1918 in the presentation case The neck cross worked in gilt silver (probably by C. F. Zimmermann, Pforzheim), the crown and swords embossed and hollow wrought, the Lippe rose made of gold, enamelled in various colours, some translucent. Width 66 mm. Weight 59 g. Together with the non-customised neck ribbon in the presentation case, em- bossed with a crown, rose and “E. K. I. Kl. X” in gold, containing a family note (tr.) “Honour Cross of the Principality of Lippe”. Worn at the neck, the 1st Class of the house and merit order represents the highest order grade. With swords, it is one of the rarest war medals awarded during the world war (according to Schwark 2005, it was awarded just 17 times). P rovenance : “Die Freiherrn von Leonrod - K.B.
