| 285 1409 1409 A large German coin tankard, late 19th century Silver, gilt, the bottom with mark of fineness “800” with crown and maker’s mark. The body in the upper part with two surrounding decorative grooves, underneath them five in- laid five-mark pieces, in the centre of the hinged lid a five-mark piece (one inscribed (tr.) “Otto King of Bavaria”, two (tr.) “Wilhelm German Emperor King of Prussia”, three (tr.) “Wilhelm II German Emperor King of Prussia”). Elegantly curved, S-shaped, round handle, ball-shaped thumb piece. Three ball feet, decorated at the base with applied foliage. Height 24.5 cm, weight 1520 g .
