| 85 3rd class with war decoration, the Decoration for Services to the Red Cross II. Class with war decoration, and the Hungarian order Vitézi Rend. Foreign orders include the Prussian Iron Cross 1st and 2nd Class, the Bavarian Veteran’s Decoration 1790 – 1812 (probably a family inheritance), the Order of Osmanieh, Commander’s Cross and Brest Star with sabers (both by the Ottoman Mint in Constantinople, silver, partly gilt and enam- elled, worn with chips to the enamel, the star with one saber and the reverse carrying pin broken off), a Gallipoli Star, the Bulgarian Military Merit Order, Commander’s Cross and Breast Star 2nd Class with swords. All orders show signs of wear, some with visible chips. A dog tag, spurs, a portrait photography and a framed oil painting on wood (85 x 65 cm). Sándor Kontz, born in 1870, during WW I head of the Austro-Hungarian Economic Board, Hungarian Ambassador in Bukarest, Deputy Minister of War in Hungary.
