Hans von Mörner was a high-ranking cavalry officer in the Prussian Army and retired as major. He came from an old aristocratic family in the Margraviate of Brandenburg who owned land in Uckermark and Neumark. The history of the Friedländer company spanned the time between 1829 and 1938. The Friedländer brothers became court jewellers at the time of Wilhelm I for the empress and queen, the crown prince and Princess Louise of Prussia. Besides other purveyors the company contributed several silver items to the 808-piece service that the later Wilhelm II received as a gift on the occasion of his marriage to Auguste Viktoria of Schleswig-Holstein. 271032 I - II € 4.500 spuren. Hof­ juweliere wurden die Gebrüder Friedländer zur Zeit von Wilhelm I. für die Kaiserin und Königin, den Kronprinzen und die Prinzessin Luise von Preußen. Neben anderen Lieferanten steuerte die Firma einige Teile aus Silber zum 808-teiligen Service bei, das der spätere Wilhelm II. zum Anlass seiner Hochzeit mit Auguste Viktoria von Schleswig-Holstein geschenkt bekam.
