| 77 A pair of flintlock pistols, Giovanni Fondrino of Padua, circa 1680 The barrels with fluting at the breeches, turning to round after girdles, in 12 mm calibre, inscribed “*Lazarino*Cominazo*” on the top. The locks with floral engraving and signature. The modestly carved, blackened and slightly rubbed full stocks with en suite engraved iron furniture, mounted wooden stock noses. Wooden ramrods with balus- ter-shaped, iron tips. One forearm with a small defect near the ramrod thimble. Length 53 cm each. Giovanni Fondrino from Lion, near Padua. Ebenfalls floral geschnittenes Stein- schloss, auf der Schlossplatte signiert. Vollschaft mit durchbrochen gearbeiteter, gravierter eiserner Garnitur und aufwändig geschnitte- nem, hohl und durchbrochen gearbeitetem Knauf. Hölzerner Lade- stock mit balusterförmigem, eisernem Dopper. Länge 50 cm. A flintlock pistol, Giovanni Cattaneo in Milan, circa 1700 Smooth-bore barrel in 14 mm calibre, the top modestly engraved, floral decoration chiselled before the tang, the barrel rib inscribed “Lazaro Lazarino”. The flintlock likewise with floral embellishment, signed on the lock plate. The full stock with openworked, engraved iron furniture and an elaborately chiselled, hollow openwork butt plate.
