A cased, stone-studded sword ensemble for a Hungarian magnate, Budapest, 19th century The extensive set comprising two different sword hangers, a riband buckle, a pair of spurs, a short belt and a number of different sized buttons. Each made of silver-plated brass, embellished with filigree and set with glass beads in red, green and light blue. In a velvet-lined, wooden case, covered in black linen (somewhat damaged). The maker's mark "SPITZ BERNAT BUDAPEST V. FURDÖ- UTCZA 7. ERZSEBET TER 1" printed on the interior of the lid. The key is missing. Samtbezogene Holzscheide (berieben) mit en suite gravier- ten, diamant- und smaragdbesetzten Silberbe- schlägen. Griff und Beschläge mit österreichi- schem Feingehaltstempel mit Meistermarke „HB“.
