1100 Niellierter und teilvergoldeter silbermontierter Shamshir, Turkmenistan, Ende 19. Jhdt. Kräftige frühere persische Klinge aus schön gemasertem Wootz-Da- mast mit terzseitig in Resten goldeingelegter Marke unter geätzter In- schriftenkartusche, datiert „1200“ (= 1786). Beidseitig geometrisch und floral nielliertes Silbergefäß mit stilisiertem Tierkopf am Knauf. Aus fünf Teilstücken bestehende, rs. durch Ringe verbundene Ganzsilber- scheide mit schauseitig teilvergoldetem und nielliertem, vollflächigem Niellodekor. Am rs. Mund niellierte Besitzerinschrift. Zwei seitliche kräftige Trageringe aus Silber. Prunkvoller Säbel mit ungewöhnlich schwerer Silbermontierung. Länge 97,5 cm, Gewicht über 2 kg.
