Hervorragend erhaltener etruskischer Kelch mit hohem Standfuß, dessen unteres Drittel mit umlaufendem Liniendekor verziert ist. Auf dem Rand der Kelchschale ebenfalls um- laufende Linien, unterbrochen von sechs schmalen, plastischen Gesichtsmasken. Mini- male Bestoßung an der Lippe und am Fuß. Intakt. Höhe 14,5 cm. Beeindruckendes Zeugnis der hohen etruski- schen Tischkultur. Provenienz: Aus österreichischer Privat- sammlung. An Etruscan bucchero goblet with plastic masks, 550 - 540 B.C. Black Bucchero ware chalice, with a flaring foot, marked both on the lower part of the foot and the rim with horizontal ribbed bands. Six heads decorate the rim of the vessel.
