Die Form wird betont durch am Rande umlaufende Leisten mit Einkerbungen. Nadel und Nadelhalter verloren. Länge 8,9 cm. Provenienz: Aus einer in Süddeutschland aufbewahrten Privatsammlung. Jhdt. v. Chr. Länglicher Beschlag in stark stilisierter Tier- form mit nach außen gerichteten Stierköpfen jeweils am vorderen und hinteren Ende. Der kleinere Kopf am hinteren Ende bereits antik nach hinten gebogen. Zwei Läufe enden in perlenartigen Verdickungen. Bronze mit schö- ner Patina. Länge 5,3 cm. Provenienz: Aus einer in Süddeutschland aufbewahrten Privatsammlung. Erworben in den 1970er bis 1980er Jahren im Kunsthandel und aus deutschen Privatsammlungen. A Scythian bronze appliqué in the shape of a stylised animal, 5th - 4th century B.C. Elongated fitting in highly stylized animal formwith bull’s heads pointing outwards at the front and rear ends. The smaller head at the rear end already antiquely bent backwards. Two legs end in pearl-like thickenings. Bronze with fine patina. Length 5.3 cm.
