In rechteckigem Stempelfeld (Maße 13,4 cm x 3,4 cm) die Marke der legio I Italica: LEG I ITAL. Buchstabenhöhe 2,6 cm. Mit Anhaftungen von Zement. Intakt. Maße 28 cm x 29 cm x 6,5 cm. Das Standlager der von Kaiser Nero 66/67 n. Chr. aufgestellten Legion war für Jahrhunderte Novae (bei Svishtov, Bulgarien) an der unteren Donau. Doch waren natürlich immer wieder Vexillationen u.a. zu Bau- arbeiten an andere Orte abkommandiert. Provenienz: Aus süddeutscher Privatsammlung, in den späten 1990er Jahren übernommen aus der Sammlung des 2013 verstorbenen Groß- vaters. Rundes Bronzeplättchen mit Metallstift auf der Rückseite, schauseitig vergoldet. Darauf die dreizeilige Inschrift Ɔ FABRI/QINTIA/NI = c(enturia) des Faber, (Eigentum des) Q(u)intianus. Intakt. Durchmes- ser 2,8 cm. Provenienz: Aus einer in Süddeutschland aufbewahrten Privatsamm- lung. Erworben in den 1970er bis 1980er Jahren im Kunsthandel und aus deutschen Privatsammlungen.
