| 59 A pair of officer’s wheellock pistols, Suhl, circa 1650 Octagonal, after chiselled balusters round and smooth barrels in 16 mm calibre with iron rear sight and spherical front sight. At the breeches (rubbed) engravings and stamped “MB”. Florally engraved wheellocks with brass wheel covers showing traces of gilding and engraved with scrolling leaves. Marked “FNS” at the hammer springs. Dark wood stocks with iron furnitures, the pommel caps engraved en suite to the locks. Wooden ramrods with bone tips.
