Systemmit Unter- hebelverschluss, zwei verriegelten Laufhaken. Basküle, Schlossbleche und Hähne noch mit Resten der ehemaligen Vernickelung, ansonsten patiniert, aber nicht narbig. Auf beiden Schlossblechen Firmierung „T BLAND & SONS”. Doppelabzug. Nussholzschaft mit Pistolengriff und Fischhaut, ohne Schaftkappe. Am Abzugsbügel Lötstelle an der vorderen Befestigung sowie Vorderschaft vorne links mit Ausbruch, Metallabschluss fehlt. Schaftlänge 36,5 cm, Gesamtlänge 135 cm. Damascus barrels partially rough and with usage marks, length 91.5 cm, English steel proof mark according to pattern up to 1887, and addition “not for Ball”. Left barrel on underside with two dents. Barrels patinated, smooth barrel rib with comp. address “T. BLAND & SONS. 106 STRAND . LONDON”. Underlever breech, double underlug lock. Espagnolette, lock plates and hammers still with remnants of former nickel plating, otherwise patinated, but not pitted. On both lock plates comp. name “ T BLAND& SONS”. Double trigger. Walnut stock with pistol grip and chequering, no butt cap. On trigger guard soldered joint on front fixture as well as chip on front left of forearm, no metal cap.
