| 7 INFORMATION IMPORTANT SHIPPING INFORMATION RE. FIREARMS Firearms of any kind and production date may only be transported by dedicated carriers. The war in Ukraine has further complicated matters, especially to some Eastern European countries. Overseas customers can receive firearms only via "Secure Air Cargo", which incurrs a fairly high entry level cost. Customers in the UK, NEMA, USA, NZ, AUS, Latin America, Africa please inquire about shipping prior to bidding! For the time being we will be able to ship such firearms, that need neither an import permit in the country of destination NOR an export permit from Germany, via UPS! UPS reserves the right to rescind this authorization at their discretion. You will receive a shipping offer for the lots you won shortly after the auction. Should you prefer shipment to another address, please let us know immediately. Dear Clients, please pay attention to the following points on the purchase of firearms requiring an ownership permit in Germany: In order to arrange shipment as quickly as possible after receipt of payment, we ask you to complete the following: • Foreign clients with a German “Waffenbesitzkarte“: Send us the original as well as a copy of your identity card. Please make sure that you include all the new identification numbers as per the 2020 Gun Act (WaffG: NWR-IDs): this includes your personal NWR-ID and the NWR-ID for your gun permit. • Clients in the Czech Republic: Since a new Gun Act went into effect in 2024, ANY import of a firearm into the territory of the Czech Republic now requires an import permit, even if the firearm is not subject to any permit within the Czech Republic. • Clients in Austria: Since Austrian Gun law only authorizes shipment of firearms to registered gun dealers, please name your importing gun dealer the latest upon receipt of your ProForma invoice. • Clients within the European Community: Send us your authorized EC-import permit, or the address of the firearms dealer who will import the arms. For firearms which are subject to an ownership permit in Germany, but freely traded in your country, the shipment can be delayed due to the strict provisions of German law. This is why we recommend to import such firearms through your arms dealer. • For our clients in the UK: BREXIT has created a number of hurdles in gun transport to the UK and increased cost significantly. To make this cheaper and easier we no longer ship guns individually - we consolidate all gun purchases by UK customers into one or two shipments after the auction. We work with HML Freight. Please contact us for details! • Clients outside the European Community: Please send your national import permit to us, without which we cannot apply for an export license,, together with a signed “End Use Certificate” that you will receive together with the auction invoice. • For our clients in the USA and Canada: USA: Unfortunately our long-term importer MMBI no longer offers his services to us. We have therefore decided to work with German Exporter Michael Merrill. All guns purchased by US clients will be shipped TO him and exported BY him, not us. You can reach him at ttumail@aol.com to discuss details. Canada: We will consolidate all guns purchased by Canadian customers into a single shipment to Calgary Shooting Centre. They will import guns for you for a moderate fee and forward them nationally. For any questions please get in touch with Markus: markus@theshootingcentre.com Please be advised that obtaining a German export permit can take up to 6 months!
