The inside as well as the flaps clad with red silk.Enclosed are three decorative pages (dimensions 60.5 x 45 cm), the cover sheet with dedication to Bismarck and watercolour scenes by Reiner Beissel with views of the Rhineland and student scenes within ornamental cartouches with the princely coat of arms of Bismarck and the imperial and royal Prussian coat of arms. Furthermore, medallions with muses and imperial portraits. Two-page message of congratulations in calligraphic script in black, red and gold, also with watercolour décor.
