A uniform ensemble for non-commissioned officers of the Prussian line cuirassiers, late 19th century Helmet M 1867, the steel skull with ridged visor, brass trims, rivets and mounts, line eagle helmet plate with patriotic scroll, removable steel spike, domed leather-lined chinscales on geometric rosettes, large state cockade of lacquered sheet metal, brown leather flap lining (torn), the visor with green underlay, the neck guard with black leather underlay (losses). Officer‘s steel cuirass with matching numbers, the sides of the breast- and back-plate stamped „4. E. 529“, surrounding brass rivets, central ridge, two leather-lined brass shoulder straps (incomplete) with decorated locks and lion heads, the lining of coarse off-white fabric, leather waist-strap with buckle. A pallash for officers (after 1817, length 107 cm), as privately purchased piece stamped „P.D. Lüneschloss Solingen“ at the blade, complete with sword knot, iron scabbard and white leather sword belt (colour partially renewed). Cartridge box on old white leather bandoleer (a flap of the deloading rod torn, a flap of the bandoleer replaced, white colour renewed). Also a pair of tall cuirassier boots of black leather (small losses and cracks) with attached spurs and replaced cotton breeches added in modern times. Partially slightly damaged, signs of age.
