Finger- operated bolt action. The left side of the lock plate unmarked. Antique restoration incl . rebluing, the finish a bit spotty in the magazine area, some thinning on the front strap. Polished bolt. The finger ring blued, small parts strawed, most bolts nitre blued. The checkered walnut grips a later replacement. Lanyard ring. Lot includes a copy of the construction drawings. There is no doubt that this gun was designed by Josef Laumann. The level of involvement of his financiers, the Schönberger brothers, is unknown.
