Offering bowl with central omphalos, strikingly inwardly drawn rim and funnel-shaped, slightly flaring rim with horizontally flared lip. An Ionian cymation on the inwardly drawn rim. Inside the bowl , around the inwardly curved omphalos, a frieze of six lotus blossoms with five lotus leaves in between. Spotted patina with light oxide layers. Diameter 13.8 cm. Height 5.2 cm. Breite an der Mündung 17,5 cm. Höhe 10 cm. Provenienz: Ostdeutsche Privatsammlung. A Hellenistic silver cup, 2nd - 1st century B.C. Large silver cup with profiled, turned foot of 4.5 cm diameter. Above it the bell-shaped cup with the lip of the rim sloping outwards, separated on the inside by a narrow throat. Minor hairline crack in the wall. Minimally spotty grey patina.
