Description

Caucasian single-edged blade with double fullers on both sides. The cipher "N II" for Tsar Nicholas II etched in a floral cartouche on the obverse, the monogram "MK" in a floral cartouche on the reverse.Brass knuckle-bow hilt with floral ornamentation, the tsarist cipher removed, the Cyrillic inscription "For bravery" engraved on both sides. A partially enamelled, gold miniature of the Order of St. Anna appliquéd on the pommel. Grooved, black-lacquered wooden grip. Leather scabbard with brass fittings and a movable suspension ring. Length 92.7 cm.
