Sturdy felt body covered with red wool cloth, at the bottom a surrounding gold braid, front visor and top made of black patent leather (craquelures, rubbed), the visor with additional gilt, profiled trim. Continuously draped with braided gold cord attached to four gold buttons with the imperial double-headed eagle in relief. Gilt emblem in the shape of the imperial double-headed eagle in fine relief. Convex chinscales of gilt brass backed by black velvet on geometric rosettes, the anterior scales punched with “G.K.” in Cyrillic script. Black leather sweatband and lining of red, watered ribbed silk (tears). Feather plume is missing. Slightly damaged in places, traces of age.
