Description
Cal. 7,63mmMauser, SN. 556, matching numbers incl. grips, numbering in Farsi. Barrel length 140 mm, slightly matte bore. Ten shots. No modern proof marks. Made in 1897/98. The rear sight graduated 1 - 10 in arabic numbers. Three-line maker's mark on top of chamber, on both sides a five-pointed star acceptance mark. On the left hand side of the receiver the Tughra of Sultan Abdul Hamid II. Original finish with some spotting, a minor trace of the shoulder stock on the magazine well and the left side of the barrel, moderate thinning on the grip strap. Hammer and lock frame case hardened. Small parts fire blued. Walnut grips with grooves. Original lanyard ring.
