Cal. 9mmLuger, SN. 305091, mirror-like bore. Barrel length 100 mm. The slide marked with company name, underneath "Modell P 38 S 9 mm Para". Original finish > 99%. Smooth walnut grips, each one attached to frame. Magazine. Almost as-new. Gunsmith Georg von Stavenhagen modified a small number of P 38 pistols with parts supplied by Walther resp. left-overs from the Wehrmacht. He made various barrel lengths and modified sights, hammer, trigger with trigger-stop, safety. Nicely matching anodized rear grip strap. The right-hand side of the grip with Stavenhagen's company logo. About 7 units are known to have been made.
