Description
Two-stage, smooth-bore barrel, octagonal turning to round after a girdle, the burnish of later date, in 16 mm calibre, four marks struck at the breech (see Heer, Der Neue Stöckel, no. 823f), the tang engraved. The flintlock lightly chiselled, signed on the lock plate. Carved, beautifully grained full stock, the slightly abraded brass furniture with lavish relief decoration. Iron ramrod with brass tip. The stock knocked, various repairs and replacements at the lock and forearm. Length 142 cm.Condition: II - Questions about the lot?
