Description

Finely ribbed, smooth barrel with horizontal oval, funnel-shaped, fluted muzzle, the barrel with lavish floral and figurative gold inlays on the lower third and the top of the muzzle. Miquelet lock (lock action somewhat fatigued) with ostentatious gold inlays on all surfaces. The slender full stock with horn nosepiece and butt plate, numerous mother-of-pearl inlays and opulent embellishment of brass pins. The wooden ramrod with a long, chiselled ramrod, also decorated with gold inlays. Length 122 cm. Exceptionally elegant blunderbuss.
