Description
The cabinet of softwood with partially ebonised walnut veneer and finely engraved and blackened bone inlays. Tiered base section, the protruding centre with hinged front and folding book rest on the inside. In the frame of the inner compartment several hidden drawers. Five compartments on either side, the lowest ones lockable. Tiered top with central lid compartment. On a later Baroque-style stand from the 19th century.
