Description

Rectangular softwood case veneered with walnut wood. Iron edge reinforcements with remnants of etched decoration, on the sides two movable iron carrying handles. Front flap is missing. The central compartment with hinged door and original lock (keyhole covered due to alteration). Eight surrounding softwood drawers. The obverse of each drawer richly decorated with marquetry. On the central door depiction of a couple playing cards, the drawer panels with ruin landscapes. Knobs replaced. The front of the case with isolated old wormholes. Dimensions 38 x 50 x 35 cm.
