Description
A figure made of carved ivory, silver, and enamel. Very elaborately crafted robe, richly studded with cabochons. Wearing a hat of gilt silver, decorated with green enamel on guilloched base, holding a silver umbrella and a silver fruit basket in his hand and carrying an enamelled gilt silver basket on his back. Bolted to a polychrome enamelled square silver base. The hinged lid with grapes cast in relief. Enamel with losses. The back of one foot restored. Height 24 cm.
