Description

Ivory, boxwood, silver. Circular, stepped wood base applied with six ivory grapes. Figure of a winemaker with elaborately carved hair. Holding a stick in one hand and in his other hand the strap of the basket which he carries on his back. Silver basket with ivory cover and engraved struts of gilt silver. Clothing made of wood. Very detailed folds. A small pouch and lion-head knife on his belt. The figure standing on a round plate with grapes and stones cast in relief. Leaf bumped at the base. Height 35 cm. With expert report.
