Description
Formidable, partly openworked sculpture of a Vishnu in basic granolith. Fine details in relief, such as lavish breast ornaments. Symbols of luck and fertility in the raised arms at the back. Broken at the bottom, the right front arm is missing. The surface with signs of age and a wonderfully established patina. Height 72 cm. On a modern iron pedestal (total height 82 cm).Provenance: From a South German private collection.
