A rare Chinese russet-painted and black-glazed vase, probably Song/Yuan Dynasty, 13th/14th century

Description

A pear-shaped body rising to a waisted neck and a flared mouth, covered with a brownish-black glaze. Iron-brown painted leaves all-around. The base is unglazed. Two chips on the mouth rim, firing flaws on the body, no other damage. Height 26.5 cm.
