Description
Slender elongated bronze warrior figure with a bow over the left shoulder. The right arm and the right foot of the frontally oriented figure are missing, as is the back part of the bow. The slightly rhombic head with a large nose and round protruding eyes. On the head a helmet (?) with a forward-curved attachment. Beautiful patina. Height 10.5 cm. Expressive bronze from the period of transition from the Bronze to the Iron Age in Sardinia.Provenance: South German private collection.
