The slender, octagonal barrel in 13 mm calibre, inlaid with floral, gold and silver inlays in segments, with cannon muzzle. An acorn-shaped mark struck at the end of the breech (Stöckel no. 4847). The long, double wheellock with en suite gold and silver-inlaid lock plate, gilt cocks, pan covers and spring-loaded safety device (the front wheel mount incomplete). The walnut stock profusely embellished with inlays of flowers, bunches of fruit, monsters and putti in engraved and blackened bone, amidst fine tendrils. The pointed oval wooden butt in eight segments, inlaid en suite to the stock. The iron, gold-inlaid trigger guard with folding trigger safety. The wooden ramrod with bone tip. Half of the horn nose and the rear ramrod thimble replaced, the inlays slightly abraded in places. Length 69.5 cm.
