Description

Typical, slightly curved single-edged blade of dark grey wild Damascus steel, separately forged, long-stranded edge. The obverse with gold-inlaid religious inscription "Nasr min Allah wa fath karib", the reverse with a gold-inlaid six-pointed star. The forte with rich floral engravings applied in solid gold. Gold grip strap engraved with flowers, riveted rhinoceros horn grip panels, a restored tip at the pommel. Length 79 cm.
