Description

Octagonal, swamped barrel with rifled bore, eight lands and grooves, cal. 11 mm. Dovetailed iron sights. Delicately engraved foliage and tendrils at the muzzle and root of the barrel, inscribed "Weitra" at the breech. The bronze lock plate with engraved trophy decoration and internal wheel, "Weitra" inscribed on the upper edge. Adjustable set trigger. The full stock in walnut with a dark horn nose. Engraved bronze inlays on the cheek piece, the patch box with a spring catch and sliding lid. The butt cap made of dark horn. Inset wooden ramrod with horn tip. Length 88.5 cm.
