Description

Mixed technique on parchment. Six-page letter with finely hand-painted frame profusely embellished with blossoms, birds, and fruits. On the first page a portrait of the ennobled physician Fabius Mascotti. Four pages inscribed in Latin, partially gold raised letters. The final page a coat of arms with ornate frame. In original folder of gold-embossed leather with two attached seals in leather capsules. Dimensions 24.5 x 18 cm.
