DescriptionBlued, smooth and round barrels in 15 mm calibre with patent breechblock and silver front sight. At the breeches a gold-damascened trophy bundle and St. Etienne acceptance mark, on the midrib the gold-damascened signature "TOUPRIANT A PARIS". Gold-lined touch holes, "no. 3" on the tang. Lightly chiselled flintlocks, the domed lock plates signed "TOUPRIANT ARQUEBUSIER DU ROI ET DE MONSIEUR A. PARIS". Walnut half stock lightly carved with rocailles and iron furniture finely chiselled in low relief. Original ramrod with horn tip and brass screw thread. Length 119.5 cm.
