Description

Cap body in field-grey green doeskin wool cloth, black centre band, grey piping and aluminum chin cords. Single-piece silver metal eagle and wreath, metal cockade with red cloth center. Black lacquered visor with grey checkered underside. Grey rayon lining, intact celluloid trapezoid with manufacturer mark impressed on surface, size stamp "53 ½" underneath. Grey leather, perforated sweatband. Soiled lining and sweatband, lacquer chips on visor.
