DescriptionCurved and fullered blade, the lower half elaborately etched, blued and gilt, on both sides cypher crown/"L" (King Ludwig I, 1825-48). Smooth, gilt brass knuckle-bow hilt with languet and grip frame (slightly rubbed) terminating in a finely crafted lion’s head. Somewhat shrunk leather scabbard with brass fittings. Length 91 cm.
