Description

Body made from staghorn with depiction of a scene from the Old Testament carved in relief on the obverse, the reverse untreated. Elaborately cut iron mounting with spout spirally chased in parts and spring-loaded cap. Two lateral suspension loops on each side with later suspension cord. Beautifully preserved powder horn with unusually elaborate workmanship. Length 24 cm.
