Description
Slender, yet sturdy blade of diamond section, the lower half with a flattened medial ridge and hollows arranged in a staggered pattern, flanked by narrow lines. The quillons, grip and pommel made of agate, the silver ferrules with acanthus ornaments. Minor damage to the central section of the quillons, a tiny flaw on the lower grip ferrule. Length 37 cm.An exquisite, ornate dagger from a baroque prince's Kunstkammer and cabinet of curiosities.
