Description
Smaller than life-sized, angled bronze arm. The hand wielding a spear or club, broken off above the hand. Beautiful patina. Mounted on a stand. Height of the arm 22.5 cm (including stand with pedestal 39 cm). Plus a solid bronze club with a snake entwined around it. Beautiful patina. Length 25 cm.Highly decorative set.
Provenance: From the collection of a South German classical philologist, acquired by him during the 1950s and 1960s. Remaining thereafter in the family estate.
