Description

The body made of a single piece of walrus ivory. Screw-on cover made of horn and walrus ivory. Iron spring closure with gold-inlaid scroll ornaments. Original strap of gold brocade, lined with red shagreen. All mounts of partly gilt silver nicely chased and nielloed, with hallmark "84" and St. Petersburg proofs. Length of primer flask 18.5 cm, with bandoleer circa 54 cm.
